LONG BEACH, CA-Ventriloquist Steve Engle with his puppet troupe,
Dusty & Co., were featured several times at the Church of the Brethren's 1997 Annual Conference at the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, CA. Over three thousand attended.
In addition to opening each of four day's business sessions with a brief presentation, Steve's appearances included an evening family "Concert," the Brethren Benefit Trust Retiree Banquet, Juniata College Luncheon, and a program for children.

site for 1998's NOAC, the National Older Adults Conference.
